Equal1 is developing a full-stack quantum computer based on spin-qubits produced on existing semiconductor processes, integrating support, readout and error correction electronics on the same chip as the qubit array. When mapping data between classical and quantum systems, data bandwidth and speed become limited, preventing large-scale use cases. Equal1’s solution integrates optimized embedded software, electronics, and cryomechanical systems to enhance bandwidth and speed. Having quantum and classical resources on the same chip enables the creation of compact and accessible processors.
