Velodex Robotics

Velodex Robotics is building a flexible AI robotic platform to automate repetitive and tedious manual operations in fresh meal production. To accomplish this, their portable platform integrates collaborative robot arms, dexterous grippers, rich contact sensing, and adaptive motion algorithms. The venture solves labor availability, cost, product consistency, and waste challenges in commercial kitchens by handling diverse food materials across a wide spectrum of tasks. Early demonstrations of the VX-0 prototype have validated the product flexibility over traditional automation for portioning and containerization of diverse foods and containers.
