Gary Agnew is CEO and Co-Founder of Ideon Technologies, leading its evolution from a research spinout to a global pioneer in subsurface intelligence. Since joining in March 2020, he has relaunched the company, scaled the team 10x, secured Series A funding, and driven commercial adoption with the world’s largest mining companies.

Under his leadership, Ideon launched the REVEAL™ Platform—combining muon tomography, multi-physics fusion, and AI—to solve complex challenges across the mining value chain, from exploration to closure. He also led the successful Earth X-Ray for Low-Impact Mining and Unlock Critical Minerals initiatives through DIGITAL, part of Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster.

Gary brings visionary leadership and deep operational experience, having spent 25 years supporting the global mining industry, including two decades at Finning International, the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer.
