Alex Singla is a senior partner of McKinsey and the global leader of QuantumBlack, the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) arm of McKinsey. In these roles, he helps companies transform and innovate by ensuring digital, data, and AI (including GenAI) solutions go from pilot to full-scale adoption and scaling. He embeds change management and capability building as core elements to every transformation to ensure sustainable and step-change improvements in growth, effectiveness, cost, profitability, and customer experience.
He has overseen QuantumBlack’s expansion and emergence within the firm as a recognized leader in AI. Alex is a thought leader on AI and digital transformation, writing articles for leading business publications, speaking frequently at conferences, and being quoted in dozens of news outlets.

He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor’s from the University of Illinois – Urbana.

Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is a member of the board of trustees of the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and an active supporter of the American India Foundation (AIF). Also, Alex is a mentor to founders of innovative technology startups who are accepted into the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison
