Long before setting foot in Silicon Valley, Amir was already operating at the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and grit – From building his first computer at age 14 to launching businesses across Europe.

Over the last 15+ years, Amir has evolved into one of the leading minds in Risk Transfer and Financial Services investing. A builder first, he has operated, scaled, and backed companies from inception to breakout, helping shape the next generation of financial innovation.

His journey spans three continents and business dealings in more than 10 countries, reflecting a deeply global perspective.

In the U.S., Amir became a powerhouse investor—founding team member at Munich Re Ventures, where he helped scale the platform from $50M to over $1B AUM; General Partner at AV8 Ventures and early-stage investor at Route 66 Ventures.

Across these roles, he’s helped founders navigate everything from product and go-to-market to capital formation and strategic growth.

Based in San Francisco, Amir brings sharp strategic insight, unmatched industry depth, and a global network to every opportunity he touches.

His academic foundation includes an M.S. in Law from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, an MBA from Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, and a B.S. in Business Informatics from RH Cologne and the University of Cologne, Germany.
