Caroline is an angel investor in European health and climate tech start-ups and a fundraiser from both public and private sources with a strong track record. She has over 20 years of experience with EU funding and has a wealth of expertise in blending public and private funding, which she sees as a key factor to the success of deep tech companies. She has been an expert for the European Commission since 2013 as well as to a number of regional and national governments in Europe and she increasingly consults for investment funds. Besides the Creative Destruction Lab, she is a mentor for the EIC programme, Europe’s flagship programme for breakthrough innovation.
