Deborah Peacock is a registered patent attorney, registered professional engineer (U.S.), an entrepreneur, an angel investor (including with some CDL companies), and sits on several corporate boards in Canada and the United States. Her law practice and boards involve natural resources, energy materials, energy, alternative energy, microgrids, oil and gas, mining, aerospace, outer space, robotics, cybersecurity, AI, and environmental technologies. She represents start-up companies across the world, and angel and venture capital groups regarding intellectual property, licensing acquisitions, and agreements. She serves as an expert to the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the National Academies of Sciences on outer space policy and natural resources.
Deborah holds a bachelor’s in metallurgical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She is registered as a patent attorney throughout the U.S. and is also licensed as an attorney in New York, Colorado, and New Mexico.
She was a contributing author in “We Got Mojo: Stories of Inspiration and Perspiration” (Xlibris Publishing, U.S.) and the author of “Mining on the Moon – Yes, it’s Really Going to Happen” (SME Mining Engineering magazine). Deborah and her husband own several airplanes and enjoy their travels across the United States and Canada.
