Deborah Peacock is a Registered Patent Attorney (U.S.), Registered Professional Engineer, a CEO and entrepreneur, an angel investor (including with some CDL companies), and sits on several corporate boards (Canada and U.S.). Deborah’s law practice and boards involve natural resources, mining, metallurgy, energy, battery materials, alternative energy, oil and gas, aerospace, outer space, and environmental technologies. She represents start-up companies worldwide, and angel and venture capital groups, regarding intellectual property, licensing, acquisitions, and agreements. She has also served as an expert to the U.S. Government Accountability Office on outer space and mining, is on the Earth Resources Committee of the National Academies of Sciences on outer space policy and natural resources, and is a speaker and author on mining in outer space.
Deborah holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. Deborah was a contributing author of “We Got Mojo: Stories of Inspiration and Perspiration” and the author of “Mining on the Moon – Yes, it’s Really Going to Happen” (Mining Engineering magazine). Deborah and her husband own several airplanes and enjoy their travels across the United States and Canada.
