Hassan is a business executive with 25 years of experience in various industries leading to SVP Business Transformation & CIO roles. He is currently the Chief Information Office at Vale Base Metals, one of the world’s largest integrated mining companies.
Hassan was formerly the Head of Technology & Digital at Mastercard Foundation, one of the biggest philanthropic organizations in the world. Previously, Hassan held Global CIO/CTO roles at Rio Tinto, Bombardier Recreational Products, and Woodbridge Automotive. Hassan holds board advisory positions with established companies and acts as an independent consultant to private equity and VC firms. He is an angel investor at the Toronto-based Maple Leaf Angels.

Hassan’s areas of interest include board advisory, digital business strategy, org design and restructuring, talent acquisition and development, digital transformation execution and governance, value realization from investment in tech, Big Tech and hyperscalers contracts negotiations, startup mentorship, angel investing, enterprise software, and philanthropy advisory.
