Ingo is responsible for Portfolio Strategy & Reporting in Leaps by Bayer, the impact investment unit of Bayer AG. Leaps is investing in early-stage companies that tackle fundamental breakthroughs and shift core paradigms in the Bayer industries. In the agricultural sector, these companies tackle fundamental breakthroughs to drive next-generation agriculture technologies that provide solutions to sustainably meet the demands of our growing population. Since 2015, Leaps by Bayer has invested over $1.7 billion in over 55 ventures working on disruptive innovations.

Ingo has more than 25 years of experience in Bayer which started in the Pharmaceutical division, includes ~6 years in Healthcare Strategy and he joined the Leaps team end of 2017.
This allowed him to add to his passion for early-stage pharmaceutical treatment options to improve the lives of patients also his interest in the potential of new digital healthcare solutions as well as the significant impact of new agricultural technologies.
In his role, Ingo is working to define the investment strategy of Leaps but he also executes selected investments.
