James Swayze was the co-founder and CEO of Symbility Solutions, an insurtech company focused on P&C claims management, before its successful acquisition by CoreLogic where he now serves as SVP of insurance business development. In advance of the CoreLogic acquisition, Symbility divested it’s health division, an insurtech company focused on employee benefits, to Telus Health.
Prior to founding Symbility, James co-founded and served as the president of Insource, a financial services marketing and product development company, which was ultimately acquired by General Electric (GE) Capital. Pursuant to the acquisition of Insource, James led the development of GE Employers Reassurance Corporation (GE ERC) as SVP of sales and marketing.
James currently serves as a director on the board of Partner Re Life Reinsurance Company of Canada and holds a bachelor’s in mathematics and statistics from the University of Western Ontario.
