Janice was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Entanglement, Inc. and its spin-out company, seQure, with overall responsibility for Finance, Operations, and HR.
Following a long career in Finance and Investment Management in Asia and the United States, Janice joined Intellectual Ventures, where she co-founded Kota Biotherapeutics LLC, a B-cell engineering company. During her tenure, Janice was also instrumental in spinning out and raising capital for some of IV’s most successful start-ups.
Janice earned an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA, with a concentration in Finance and a BA from the University of British Columbia with a major in Chinese.
She is a former Board Member of Modern Hydrogen, a Bill Gates-backed alternative energy company, and MedX Xelerator, a medical technology incubator collaboration among IV, Boston Scientific and Sheba Medical Center. She is a former Board Observer for Pivotal Commware, a 5G technology company.
