Jason Greenspan

Jason Greenspan is a CEO, operating partner, and investor who specializes in turnarounds, transformation, and growth for private equity-backed businesses. He is currently the founder of Beacon Road, where he advises private equity firms, venture capital funds, and family offices on strengthening portfolio company performance.

Most recently, Jason was CEO and Operating Partner of VM Food Group, a PE-backed food manufacturer. He led the company through a restructuring, winning the support of a supermajority of creditors, and then through a turnaround from near bankruptcy to growth in revenue, margin, and profit. He also modernized the business with MRP, data analytics, and AI-driven workflow tools. Before that, he led portfolio operations and value creation at Kensington Capital Partners, where he sat on the Investment Committee and led two portfolio company restructurings.

Jason is also an entrepreneur. He co-founded and was CEO of WHOOSH!, which became the leading screen cleaning brand in North America. It was sold in over 10,000 stores worldwide, including Apple stores, won two CES Innovations awards, and was named to Canada’s Top 100 fastest-growing companies three times before its sale to a family office in 2020. As Chairman of Confederation Freezers, he helped grow enterprise value 5x in 2.5 years and led the company to a 2021 exit to Premium Brand Holdings.

Earlier in his career, he held marketing and strategy roles at Visa, Holt Renfrew, RadioShack, Virgin Mobile, and Krispy Kreme. Jason holds an MBA from York University’s Schulich School of Business and the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
