Jen Dworzak, MD/PhD, is a physician-scientist and early-stage life science and health tech investor. She has a background in management of technology and innovation from the Judge Business School; health system strategy and quality improvement at Penn; and VC finance from Berkeley.

She has experience in early-stage commercialization at life science and digital health academic accelerators while at Cambridge and building digital health tools in predictive analytics and clinical decision support while at Penn.

She founded and manages an early-stage advisory and angel investing consortium, which does first check investments into deep-tech companies, primarily in the life sciences.

She currently serves on the board of the Oxford Entrepreneurs Network, the board of the International Biomedical Research Alliance, the advisory boards of several early-stage life science and health tech startups, and is Principal at LOUD Capital, where she focuses on MedTech and healthcare IT/infrastructure.

Dr. Dworzak earned her MD from Icahn School of Medicine, her PhD in neuroscience from the University of Cambridge (via a collaboration between the University of Oxford and NIH), was an Orthopedic Surgery resident physician at Mount Sinai Hospital and an Anesthesia, Pain Medicine resident physician at the University of Pennsylvania, before joining the faculty at the University of Washington.
