Johannes Binswanger

Johannes Binswanger holds the Chair for Business Economics and Public Policy at the University of St. Gallen, with a special emphasis on executive education. Johannes has got his PhD in Economics with a specialization in psychological economics. Before joining the University of St. Gallen he was Assistant and then Associate Professor at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Next to his passion for the core topics in Economics he also has strong interests in data science and machine learning. Johannes has created several new courses on machine learning at the executive level, among them for the University of St. Gallen MBA and executive MBA programs. He has also created a new certificate program in Data Science Fundamentals at the Bachelor’s level where students get the experience of working, thinking and feeling like a data scientist.
