Kevin Swailes is the CEO and Chairman of Swailes & Company, a Texas Veteran-Owned Business certified by the Texas Veterans Commission. The firm is a licensed investigative and digital forensics consultancy with deep experience in corporate investigations, cybersecurity audits, threat and risk assessments, and employment screening. Engagements span oil & gas, high-technology, diversified multinational, and leading law firms. Kevin brings extensive expertise in intellectual property, trade secrets, and complex litigation support.

Previously, Kevin served more than a decade at General Electric (GE) as Corporate Security Executive, where he led the company’s first global Insider Threat and Intellectual Property Protection program. Deployed across 185 countries and protecting more than 300,000 employees and contractors, the initiative reduced data-loss risk by over 80 percent.

Kevin is actively applying artificial intelligence across business operations, including the use of foundation models and open-source LLMs for investigative, cybersecurity, and risk assessment applications. Completed a certificate in Prompt Engineering from Vanderbilt University and pursuing ongoing training in advanced AI methods. This hands-on engagement reflects a practical focus on integrating emerging technologies into real-world problem solving.

Kevin holds an MBA from Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, a bachelor’s degree in business from LeTourneau University, and is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Russian. His executive training includes GE Crotonville Executive Leadership programs and the SANS Institute’s Executive IT Leadership course.
