Kunal Phalpher

President, Li Metal

Kunal Phalpher currently serves as the president of Li-Metal, a company focused on scaling up technologies for next-generation anode products for new battery technologies. In this capacity, Kunal focuses on strategy and business development for the company as well as capital raising from both dilutive and non-dilutive sources. Prior to joining Li-Metal, he served as Chief Strategy Officer of Li-Cycle Holdings Corp., a leading lithium-ion battery recycler based in Toronto, where he led strategic planning and corporate development and oversaw the company’s global customer base and commercial development strategy. During his time at Li-Cycle, Kunal played an instrumental role in guiding the company from a start-up through a rapid growth phase and its transition to a U.S. publicly traded company, previously holding the title of Chief Commercial Officer at the company.
