Livleen is the former CEO of bioLytical Laboratories, an infectious disease rapid diagnostic test manufacturer where she led a team of amazing people that successfully scaled the company from 50 to over 110 employees, achieved 4x revenue growth, double digit EBITDA, and turned sustainably profitable.

Under Livleen’s leadership, bioLytical Laboratories was ranked on Business in Vancouver’s Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies’ list three years in a row, is the winner of the 2018 Lifesciences BC’s Growth Stage MedTech Company of the Year, honoured as the 2019 BC Exporter of the Year by the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Association, and listed in the Globe and Mail’s Report on Business as one of the Top 400 Growing Companies in Canada.

Prior to joining bioLytical, Livleen was the Head of Finance and Operations at Luvo where she supported the organization from startup to the launch of 34 USDA approved products with 5,500 retailers in the US.

She joined the biotech industry in 2006, holding management positions before rising to the position of Chief Financial Officer for Response Biomedical, a medical device manufacturer, which was publicly traded at the time, and where Livleen supported the CEO in raising $38M.

Starting her career in leadership at Infosat Communications, a BCE subsidiary and satellite service provider, Livleen used her financial expertise to integrate the operations of 3 acquisitions within 3 years during a time of 100% year over year revenue growth.

Livleen has an affinity for purpose-driven businesses. She is passionate about creating a big vision, inspiring great teams, and implementing strategies to transform innovative ideas into revolutionary products.

Livleen earned her designation as a Certified Management Accountant in 2001 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
