Mark Shulgan

Mark Shulgan founded and led two growth equity teams at top-tier global investment management firms and has consistently delivered top-quartile returns. He is the founder and former head of OMERS Growth Equity where he led investments into 20 companies and more than $1B of invested capital in software and tech-enabled healthcare companies in North America. Before that, Mark co-founded and then led CPPIB’s Thematic Investing (now Growth Equity) team. There, he led investments into 30 companies and more than $6B of invested capital, primarily into software and healthcare companies in North America, Western Europe, and Asia. Before that, he was a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group.

Mark has served on the boards of Dialpad, Coveo (TSX: CVO), TouchBistro, PandaDoc, Celigo, Purpose Financial, and OneEleven. He is a Venture Capital Advisor to Nicola Wealth.
