Matthias is an Executive Partner in the consulting agency Die BrückenKöpfe, specialized in healthcare. Prior to that, he had 30 years of experience in several senior management roles in the pharmaceutical industry. With Sanofi he worked as a member of the German management board as VP of Governmental Affairs and Access. Prior to that, he was assigned among other leadership roles as Head of Europe Oncology. He started his international career as Marketing Director with Schering Spain-Madrid. He studied and earned his doctorate at the Freie Universität Berlin and worked 2 years in a hospital (internal medicine) before joining the industry.
