Matthias Suermondt

Matthias Suermondt is an executive partner in the consulting agency Die BrückenKöpfe, specialized in healthcare. Prior to that, he has 30 years of experience in several senior management roles with the pharmaceutical industry. With Sanofi, Matthias worked as a member of the German management board as the vice president of governmental affairs and access. Prior to that, he was assigned as the head of Europe oncology in addition to other leadership roles. He started his international career as a marketing director with Schering Spain-Madrid. Matthias studied and earned his doctorate at the Freie Universität Berlin and worked in a hospital (internal medicine) for two years before joining the industry.
