Mike Kalisiak

Co-Chair of the Board, Halo Health

Dr. Mike Kalisiak is a dermatologist, Co-Chair of the Board at HaloHealth and an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary. His clinical focus is on skin cancer prevention, early detection and treatment. Dr. Kalisiak is a physician-MBA with extensive “bench to bedside to boardroom” experience, leadership and public relations skills and a passion for health-tech startups. He has held numerous leadership roles in the medical field, including as a representative to the Alberta Medical Association and an elected Councilor of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. He’s also led and participated in numerous health advocacy initiatives in Canada and the U.S.

Mike was part of the inaugural Global Executive MBA in Healthcare and Life Sciences class at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. He discovered his passion for health technology entrepreneurship while assisting a digital pathology startup at CDL, and soon after joined HaloHealth – the first Canadian physician angel investor/advisor network.
