Mike Schneider

President, Central Region, NFP

Mike Schneider is the president of NFP’s Central and West regions, with nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance, finance and risk management consulting industry.

He leads a team of diverse, experienced and talented professionals who specialize in corporate benefits, property and casualty, and individual solutions for high net worth individuals. Mike and his team provide brokerage and consulting services and have a proven track record of reducing costs, managing risk and maximizing ROI through a wide range of industry-leading resources, technology and specialty platforms.

Mike is responsible for the financial performance, operational efficiency and growth of NFP’s Central and West regions while working collaboratively with field office leaders and executive leadership. He is passionate about and critically involved in ensuring NFP’s vision, mission and overall objectives are communicated and implemented across the regions.

In 2015, he was selected as an honoree for Business Insurance’s Top 40 Under 40 Award, an exclusive designation that was created to honor the top insurance advisors under the age of 40 across the country.

Mike started his career at Arthur Andersen, with a specialization in corporate finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. He went on to manage and grow a boutique insurance advisory, which was sold to NFP in 2013.

He holds a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master’s in finance from the University of Chicago.
