Naveen Agarwal is managing partner at NavDots and advises financial services companies on growth, transformation, M&A and innovation strategies. Naveen brings a blend of deep P/L operating experience and skills in AI, Tech, CX, and marketing. His career spans over 30 years in CEO and other C-level operating roles at public companies and startups. He is passionate about using technology to create new business models, serve customers better, and increase productivity.

In prior roles, Naveen was chief customer officer at Prudential Financial (NYSE: PRU) and led global digital technology, customer experience, data sciences, and marketing. He brought an entrepreneurial mindset to Prudential and led company’s transformation from siloed business units to a need-based customer centric enterprise. He was the catalyst behind the company’s multi-channel online and service experience and AI and delivered industry leading, and tangible results. He served on Prudential’s US management committee and US operating committee. He also held position of chief market development officer, working closely with business unit CEOs to deploy capital and drive inorganic growth via strategic M&A, majority/minority investments, and partnerships.

Naveen’s entrepreneurial background includes over 20 years in Silicon Valley. He was the CEO and board director at Pricelock, an online marketplace for large energy buyers and sellers and served as president of E*TRADE Capital Management and ran E*TRADE’s retirement, wealth management, mutual funds, and corporate stock plans businesses. He has held executive roles at startups and public companies including at Renaissance Software, SunGard and TCS. He brings expertise in SaaS, healthcare, employee benefits, stochastic and quantitative pricing and risk techniques, asset and wealth management, brokerage, credit, and insurance.

Naveen is a strategic thinker with a collaborative curiosity that provokes thought. He speaks frequently on wide-ranging topics and is well respected in governance and strategic advisory roles. Naveen serves as an independent board member and chair of audit committee for Leo Holdings (NYSE: LHC), is a senior advisor to AI4All, a Fellow at Creative Destruction Lab at University of Wisconsin, and an advisor to CNBC TEC. He also advises various VC/PE funds on their investments and deal diligence.

Naveen holds an MBA from Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi, India. He resides in the SF Bay Area with his wife, is a proud father of two, and enjoys fashion, basketball, long hikes, and travels especially in pursuit of good wine.
