Fascinated by the intersection of data, biology, and global health, Parminder Benipal has dedicated his career to turning innovative ideas into life-changing products. He has spent more than a decade in the digital health space, consistently bridging the gap between early-stage concepts and scalable, real-world applications.

His journey includes leading the development of an AI-powered skin-imaging service from its initial prototype to a robust platform. To enable this, he designed the secure, multi-cloud, multi-region infrastructure necessary to serve millions of patients and process over 20 million medical images while adhering to strict regulations. He has also been at the forefront of regulatory innovation, leading the charge on an FDA submission for a groundbreaking AI diagnostic aid. Before that, he tackled the challenges of big data in genomics, modernizing a cancer genomics center by wrangling petabytes of sequencing data and virtualizing critical research pipelines.

Driven by a desire to make a global impact, Parminder advises on CDMO projects and supports the export of biotech platforms to the MENA region. As an angel investor, he backs the transfer of medical device technologies and solutions for early cancer detection to underserved markets.

Outside of work, Parminder spends time with his family hiking trails, exploring new places, and carving down ski slopes.
