Raanan Gewirtzman

Raanan is a seasoned leader, entrepreneur, executive, and board member with a distinguished history of accomplishments in establishing companies, expanding businesses, and orchestrating global marketing strategies. He excels in mentoring deep-tech, early-stage venture executive teams, guiding them to set ambitious goals and chart clear, fundable paths to business success.

Throughout his career, Raanan has succeeded as a CEO and in other executive capacities across startups and corporates, developing a deep understanding of diverse businesses, markets, and technologies. He currently serves as a strategy and business advisor to several executive teams, including Akhetonics GmtH, Teramount Ltd., and Classiq Technologies Ltd. Previously, he advised Annapurna Labs (acquired by Amazon) and Seebo (acquired by Augury).

As CEO and Board Member of BroadLight Inc., a fabless semiconductor company, Raanan led the organization from a startup to a market-leading, profitable growth enterprise. BroadLight specialized in processors for the rapidly growing fiber-to-the-home market. Under Raanan’s leadership, BroadLight achieved significant market share and established a top-tier customer position around the world. The company’s business success culminated in its acquisition by Broadcom Corporation.

Raanan also served as Chief Business Officer at proteanTecs Ltd., where he led the long-term vision and strategy for revolutionary electronics health and performance monitoring solutions. Earlier in his career, Raanan served as Vice President of semiconductors at Virata Inc. and had a long, fruitful career at IBM Research.

Raanan holds a B.Sc. cum laude in Computer Engineering and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from The Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
