President, Elcatex Apparel Group

Renton is the president of Elcatex Apparel Group, the joint-venture manufacturing partner of SanMar, which was recently named a 2023 U.S. Best-Managed Company by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal. As one of the world’s largest vertically integrated apparel manufacturers, Elcatex employs over 13,000 employees and believes in operating with family values and a strong commitment towards sustainability and innovation. This includes ongoing investments aimed at reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing using renewable energy, water conservation measures, and pioneering technologies.

Prior to his current role, Renton led SanMar’s Innovation Lab and has held various leadership roles in the U.S., Asia, and Europe across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and growth-related disciplines. He holds a bachelor’s in commerce from the University of British Columbia, attended the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is a Certified Public Accountant (retired).
