Sarah has over 40 years experience in the technology industry, most recently in Amazon Web Services as Solutions Architecture Director, leading more than 1300 technologists across Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as leading on sustainability, data, AI and innovation. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at Direct Line Group, where she delivered strategy, architecture and innovation, as well as designing large scale complex transformation for financial institutions as a Distinguished Engineer at IBM. She provides strategic advisory services to startups, university initiatives and works with organisations focussing on young people.
