With over 25 years of marketing experience in Canada, the US, the Middle East and Australia, Sean has a unique view of human behaviour, marketing trends, and brand engagement. He has worked with some of Canada’s top brands including MolsonCoors, Nikon, Kraft, CIBC and Toyota. He also spent time with some of Canada’s leading advertising agencies – Dentsu and Leo Burnett.
During the last 15+ years at Dashboard Marketing, Sean has developed brand and marketing strategies for organizations in tourism, retail, higher education, SaaS, financial, automotive, IT, sport and more. Sean has also acted as a Fractional CMO with organizations such as Tirecraft Canada, Eden Textile, Shaw Brick, StFX University, GIT Sustainable Coatings, GOALLINE and Kinduct. He also supports the startup community through mentor, advisor and ‘Expert in Residence’ roles with organizations like Dalhousie’s Emera IdeaHub, Ignite Atlantic, Startup Zone PEI, Volta and CEED. His key areas of expertise are brand development/management, marketing strategy, audience discovery, lead acquisition, customer retention, digital/social marketing, sponsorship and market research.
Sean is also an active speaker on the topic of branding and strategic marketing. He has presented at conferences and post-secondary institutions across the country. Sean is extremely passionate about branding, marketing and telling a good story.
