Tilmann Eichstaedt

COO Upstream Supply-Chain, HelloFresh

Tilman Eichstädt is SVP Services and Sustainability at HelloFresh, where he leads the alignment of sustainable operations with commercial performance across one of the world’s largest direct-to-consumer food supply chains. He also serves as Senior Lecturer in Supply Chain Digitalization at Kühne Logistics University.

Until end of 2025, Tilman was COO Upstream for HelloFresh International, overseeing procurement, quality, supply planning, operations analytics, customer care, and product operations. Over more than a decade at HelloFresh, he built the company’s international sourcing, product operations, and sustainability functions from the ground up — gaining first-hand experience of the trade-offs between global scale, supply resilience, and environmental responsibility that sit at the heart of modern food systems.

Before HelloFresh, he consulted on supply chain and sourcing in the automotive and railway industries and led the supply chain function at a solar module manufacturer. Tilman holds a PhD in Negotiation and Auction Theory applied to procurement, and spent five years as a professor of Supply Chain Management at bbw Hochschule. He began his career at Ecologic, an environmental consultancy, working on recycling policy and producer responsibility.
