Tobias Sünner has more than 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He had the privilege of leading world-class engineering organizations on General Motors’ journey to becoming electrified, automated and software-defined, and has extensive insight into the auto and software ecosystem – as well as global markets. Tobias has led large-scale engineering organizations, including the PATAC Engineering Center in China and GM’s Canadian Technical Centre (CTC), where he was responsible for work streams, people and culture, budgets, and governance. He transformed the CTC into a software development centre and integrated the organization into GM’s global Software Defined Vehicle group.
