Born in France and now based in LA, Tram Lai is the Vice President of Corporate Venture Capital at Hermès. For the past 5 years, she has invested in cutting-edge technologies that drive innovation in retail, supply chain, biotech and the future (green) world. With a sweet spot in Series B financing, Hermès is actively investing in North America and Europe.

With a venture capital and corporate development background, Tram partners with executives and entrepreneurs to transform visions into actionable strategies and learn about the impact on supply chain.

Her previous roles include consultant, VP of Corporate Development and Strategy at Cinedigm, and Associate at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, M&A, and corporate finance, having raised over $300 M and managed international digital sales expansion.

Tram is a graduate from Harvard Business School and HEC Paris. Her passion for travel, scuba diving and surfing reflects her adventurous spirit and commitment to continuous learning. Tram’s career exemplifies her ability to blend strategic vision with practical execution, making her a key player in corporate venture capital and innovation.
