Michael Kanovsky
Michael Kanovsky is founder and CEO of Sky Energy Corp., a private energy and investment company.
Mr. Kanovsky holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queen’s University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business and is a Professional Engineer.
Mr. Kanovsky started his career in investment banking and subsequently has had significant involvement in the oil, gas & power industries as well as active investments in real estate and Seniors assisted healthcare. Currently he is a Director of Devon Energy Corporation. He previously served as a founding director/shareholder of Northstar Energy Corporation, ARC Resources Ltd., North American Oilsands Ltd., Bonavista Petroleum Ltd and Seven Generations Energy Ltd. Michael was a past director of Pure Technologies Ltd., TransAlta Corporation and Precision Drilling Inc.
Mr. Kanovsky sits on the Advisory Board of the Ivey School of Business & is former Vice Chair of the Alberta Children’s Hospital Board.
