Emer Dooley

Emer is a former computer designer and high-tech exec now serving as adjunct faculty in technology strategy, entrepreneurship and venture capital at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. She works with the Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship, involving students in all aspects of company creation, technology commercialization and investment.
Emer raised and ran the first Alliance of Angels Seed Fund, a $4.4 million fund invested in 16 Seattle startups.
Emer is passionate about travel, running, the outdoors and education. She is the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Ashesi University, Ghana.
She holds BSc and MEng degrees from the University of Limerick, and an MBA and PhD from the University of Washington.
