Dr. Anna Posacka is an ocean scientist and advisor with a background in advancing sustainable ocean solutions through commercialization, cross-sector collaboration, and the integration of science, innovation, and policy. She is an Investigator in the Climate Stream at the Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), where she supports science-based ventures at the intersection of ocean and climate innovation.

Anna is the founder of Ocean Positive Solutions, where she partners with governments, NGOs, and mission-driven companies to develop science-based programs and technologies that improve ocean outcomes. Her past experience includes a Chief Scientist role at the ocean startup Ocean Diagnostics Inc., and a science leadership role at the NGO Ocean Wise, where she led the development of infrastructure, services, and partnerships to tackle global plastic pollution. She also serves on the Ocean Program Advisory Committee at the National Research Council of Canada.
