Anna Posacka is an advisor and strategist focused on the circular plastics economy. Her experience includes leading the Plastics Lab at Ocean Wise, where she worked with policymakers, authorities, product brands, and corporations to assess drivers and impacts of plastic pollution and inform cross-sector innovation. She later joined Ocean Diagnostics, a cleantech startup, where she worked on bringing analytical tools for assessing plastics in the environment into commercial applications.

Anna has worked across plastics science, policy, and innovation, delivering cross-sector assessments and subject matter expertise to federal agencies and industry. Her current work focuses on evaluating the environmental, social, and economic impacts of policy and emerging solutions. She works with solution developers, investors, and policymakers to support the transition to a sustainable materials economy. She holds a PhD in Oceanography from the University of British Columbia and has led cross-disciplinary research on plastics spanning environmental leakage, impacts and risks, waste management, and upstream material design and industry practices.
